1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

This privacy policy is intended to inform you about the information and data gathered by Barre Nation (“us”, “we”) when you use this service, how we store your information, information we collect and the degree to which your information may be used.

Barre Nation takes your privacy seriously. We will never rent or sell your information to third parties. We will share your information with ‘Mindbody booking system’ for the purpose of membership administration and bookings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and as a registered Barre Nation user, we will attempt to inform you of any material changes via email. Otherwise, please check back frequently on the Barre Nation website for the latest and most up to date privacy policy posted here.

Barre Nation provides you with the opportunity to review, remove and modify any personal information that you provided previously under the Data Protection Act 1998. You can update your personal information by logging into your account. To delete your account please contact us via email at hello@barrenation.com.au. 

2. DATA COLLECTION & USE 

As part of the registration process, we only collect the minimum amount of personal data in order for you to use Barre Nation services. The data you will need to provide includes your Full Name, Email, Phone, Address, City, State, Country, Postal Code and Billing information, including credit card data. We may collect information about other people from you, including your emergency contacts, and only use this information for the reason it was provided. All data is stored in the United States. If you elect to not provide any of the above information, you will not be able to use Barre Nation services. Barre Nation clients data (via Mindbody booking system) will be kept unless you request that we delete it by emailing hello@barrenation.com.au.

We may use your Personal Information for legitimate business purposes, including creating and administering accounts, sending administrative information to you, communicating special offers, promotions and Barre Nation company updates via email. If you do not wish to receive marketing or promotional emails, you will have the option to opt out (see the section below on Email Notices). You are unable to opt out of administrative communications. We may also use your information to compile anonymised usage statistics regarding the use of our website services. We will not share your personally identifiable information with third parties, outside of the limited circumstances referenced in the paragraph immediately below. We may, however, share with partners, aggregated statistical data that includes users’ demographic information but does not identify them. We reserve the right to provide any and all such aggregated and non-individually identifiable data to third parties.

3. ANALYTICS 

We may collect and store certain information about your interactions with Barre Nation website and services, including cookies, IP Addresses, browser type, device type, location, Internet service provider (ISP), entry and exit pages, operating systems, time/date stamps, and other related data. Barre Nation uses this information, only to improve the quality of our services and products. If you choose to decline cookies via your browser, you will have some limitations in using Barre Nation services.

4. EMAIL NOTICES 

When you register to use Barre Nation services, your email will automatically be listed in the Barre Nation mailing list. You will receive welcome information, account information, and other marketing information related to Barre Nation services and the products you viewed and purchased. You may also receive periodic emails from us notifying you of new features, products and other related information for Barre Nation services.

You may choose to opt out of receiving promotional emails from Barre Nation at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email or requesting it by emailing hello@barrenation.com.au. Please note that you will continue to receive Member Services related communications as it pertains to your member account. If you have previously opted out of receiving emails or texts or other SMS messages from us, providing updated information will act as an ‘opt back-in’. Barre Nation may use any of your contact information held on file (including Email, Mailing address, SMS & Phone) to communicate with you in relation to day to day administrative activities, such as membership freeze requests, online purchases and important service alerts. Barre Nation never sells or rents your name, e-mail address, or any other personally identifiable information to third-parties unless you are notified.

If you forget your account information, you may click “forgot login” on the login screen and a password reset link will be emailed to you with further steps to follow.

5. BUSINESS TRANSITIONS

In the event that Barre Nation goes through a business transition, such as a merger or acquisition by or with another company, including partial or all assets, any personally identifiable information we have on record will likely be transferred with the transition.

6. SECURITY 

We protect all data and data transmission with SSL/TLS encryption and other security measures to ensure that your data is protected and safe. Please be advised that whilst we take every measure to protect your data and integrity of your information, we cannot guarantee that this will prevent unauthorised access from occurring in the form of a data breach by a trusted third party. Please take the proper steps to maintain the security of your account information. We highly recommend that you set a long, tough-to-guess password, unique to Barre Nation services for your registered account to prevent attackers from easily guessing your password.

7. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY 

Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by email.
