3. MEMBERSHIP & PAYMENT TERMS

Payments are processed weekly, beginning the week your membership is created. Your payment covers classes from that day of the week, for 7 days.

Unlimited, 2-classes-a-week and 1-class-a-week memberships are a direct debit contract with a 13 week minimum commitment. For our 6 and 12 month memberships, the full term must be completed. After the minimum commitment, the membership will continue to be debited and can be cancelled at anytime after giving 4 week’s notice by emailing hello@barrenation.com.au.

4. MEMBERSHIP CHANGES

You are welcome to swap to a different membership option, on a condition that it is a higher membership only. In the event of the membership pricing being reduced, you must have fulfilled your 13 week commitment to change your membership. Simply email hello@barrenation.com.au to make these changes.

5. SUSPEND YOUR MEMBERSHIP

You are welcome to pause your membership at any time, for a minimum of 7 days. You may do this once every 3 months with no fees. Additional suspensions will be charged at a non refundable rate of $10 per week. If you would like to suspend your membership simply email us with at least 7 days notice from your next scheduled direct debit payment.

Please note that suspending your membership extends your membership term by the length of the suspension.

6. CANCEL MEMBERSHIP

For unlimited and 2-classes-a-week memberships, a 13 week minimum term applies. After the initial minimum term, you can request to cancel your membership by contacting us via email with at least 4 week’s’ notice. All requests for cancellations must be made in writing via email to hello@barrenation.com.au. You will receive an email reply confirming your cancellation and the last date payment will be debited.

For our 6 and 12 month discounted memberships, the full term must be completed prior to cancelling. If you are a 6 or 12 month member and wish to cancel before the end of your term, you must pay 50% of the remaining dollar value of your membership.

Memberships are paid 7 days in advance, so no refunds can be awarded once the transaction has been made if you fail to advise within adequate time frames.

We do understand that life can be unexpected, so please discuss your situation with us directly if need be, in writing to hello@barrenation.com.au. The outcome will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

7. TWO WEEK INTRO PASS

The introductory offer can be used once only per client and is valid for 14 days from the date of your first class, after purchasing the pass. We are unable to pause, refund or extend intro passes for any reason.

8. BOOKING POLICY

As class sizes are limited, we strongly recommend you pre-book online either via the Barre Nation app or website to reserve your place. Bookings open 14 days in advance.

Thank you for respecting our waitlisted clients and honouring our strict 12 hour cancellation policy for classes before 12pm, 4 hour cancellation policy for classes after 12pm and 2 hour cancellation policy for private and duet sessions. In order to avoid forfeiting your class or getting a late cancellation charge, please be sure to cancel on our website or on the app at the time specified above, prior to your class. There are no exceptions due to the small class sizes as most of our classes are waitlisted.

Late Cancellation fees are $10 per class for two-class and unlimited membership holders and $30 per private and $60 per duet sessions.

No show fees also apply. You will be charged $10 per class for two-class and unlimited membership holders, $30 per private session and $60 per duet session.

Casual passes or Class Passes will be forfeited for the applicable class if you cancel late or don’t show up.

9. RETURNS & REFUNDS

All purchases and direct debit transactions are non-exchangeable, non-refundable or non-transferable. Unfortunately we are not able to refund any client for unused Membership periods, casual/class passes or two-week trial passes once activated.

10. GENERAL TERMS

Barre Nation reserves the right to cancel and change teachers, events and classes without prior notice.

11. BELONGINGS AND VALUABLES

Barre Nation cannot accept responsibility for any valuables brought to the studio. If you have misplaced an item, please email hello@barrenation.com.au and we will do our best to locate it for you.

12. RETAIL RETURNS POLICY

All retail sales are final. No refunds or exchanges on retail purchases, unless the item is deemed faulty. No refunds or exchanges will be issued due to change of mind.

13. LATE ARRIVAL ETIQUETTE

Please arrive early for a smooth check-in experience. Out of respect for other clients, instructors and your safety, there is no admittance after 5 minutes of the scheduled class time.

Please make sure if you arrive late, to have yourself signed in by the teacher after class to avoid a penalty. Failure to check in can result in a late cancellation/no charge fee.

14. WAITLIST ETIQUETTE

You may request to be added to a waitlist if a class you wish to attend is booked out, and you would like to be notified if a space in the class becomes available. When searching for the class you wish to attend you will see a ‘Request Waitlist’ button which automatically adds you to the waitlist for that class.

Note, you may not see this button if there are already more than 5 people who have added themselves to the waitlist before you.

Your waitlisted classes will show in your schedule and we ask that if you know you can no longer attend a waitlisted class, that you cancel here in your schedule. You will be notified if a space becomes available in a class you are waitlisted for and you can confirm your position and attendance for that class. You will be required to pay for the class when you are moved from the waitlist to the schedule for that class.

15. CLASS ETIQUETTE

  • Please make sure you are checked in by the instructor at every class you attend. Failure to check in can result in a late cancellation/no charge fee.

  • Please leave personal items in the change room. Our studios are peaceful and clutter free zones. Mobile phones can be taken into the studio provided they are on silent mode and are not distracting to you or other clients.

  • Please keep all food out of the studio.

  • Please stay for the entire class. If you have a special circumstance, let the instructor know before class starts and grab a space by the exit.

  • Socks are required for reformer classes for hygiene purposes. Grip socks are encouraged for all classes and are available to purchase.

We will not share your email address or any other details to a third party. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
