CODE OF CONDUCT
At Barre Nation, we strive to create a welcoming, respectful, and safe environment for all clients and instructors. Our Code of Conduct outlines the values and behaviours we uphold to ensure that our studio remains a safe, inclusive and inspiring environment to ensure that everyone can enjoy their studio experience. By attending classes at Barre Nation, all clients agree to adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Respect for Others
Be courteous and respectful to fellow clients, instructors, and staff at all times.
Maintain a positive attitude and avoid disruptive behavior that could affect the experience of others.
Refrain from using offensive or inappropriate language.
2. Punctuality
Please arrive early for a smooth check-in experience. Out of respect for other clients, instructors and your safety, there is no admittance after 5 minutes of the scheduled class time.
Please make sure if you arrive late, to have yourself signed in by the teacher after class to avoid a penalty. Failure to check-in can result in a late cancellation/no charge fee.
3. Hygiene and Attire
Wear clean, comfortable, and fitted workout clothing to allow teachers to observe your movement and alignment.
Bring a clean pair of socks to each session, as required.
Practice good personal hygiene and clean any studio equipment after use.
4. Personal Items and Mobile Phones
Please leave personal items in the change room. Our studios are peaceful and clutter free zones. Mobile phones can be taken into the studio provided they are on silent mode and are not distracting to you or other clients.
5. Safety and Health
Inform your teacher of any injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations before class begins.
Follow the teacher’s guidance and modifications to ensure safe and effective practice.
Refrain from engaging in movements or exercises that you feel are unsafe or beyond your comfort level.
6. Studio Equipment and Space
Treat all studio equipment and facilities with care and respect.
After using equipment, clean and return it to its designated place.
Report any damaged or faulty equipment to staff immediately.
7. Cancellations and Booking Policies
Adhere to our cancellation policy by notifying us within the required timeframe to avoid fees.
Respect the booking system and ensure that any changes to your schedule are made in advance.
8. Feedback and Communication
We encourage open and respectful communication. If you have any concerns, feedback, or suggestions, please share them with your instructor or studio management.
Address conflicts or issues with others in a professional and respectful manner, and seek assistance from staff when needed.
9. Confidentiality and Privacy
Respect the privacy of fellow clients. Do not share personal details or experiences of others without their consent.
All health information shared with instructors will be treated with confidentiality and respect.
10. Studio Environment
Help maintain a calm and peaceful atmosphere within the studio.
Be mindful of noise levels and conversations in shared spaces to ensure a focused practice environment for all.
By following this Code of Conduct, we can create a positive and supportive community where everyone can benefit from their practice. Barre Nation reserves the right to take appropriate action if this code is not followed, including suspension or termination of studio access.
Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to maintaining a respectful and harmonious space at Barre Nation!
